Which sims does Hotlap.ai support?
iRacing and Le Mans Ultimate. iRacing has every feature. Le Mans Ultimate support is new and covers lap analysis, comparisons, and AI coaching. More sims are planned.
How do I get Le Mans Ultimate telemetry into Hotlap.ai?
In Le Mans Ultimate, open Settings → Gameplay and enable Automatic Telemetry Recording. LMU then saves each session to its UserData/Telemetry folder, and the Hotlap.ai desktop app picks up new sessions and syncs them in the background.
What isn't available for Le Mans Ultimate yet?
Setups sync, live telemetry, and live overlays are iRacing-only for now. LMU laps don't use pre-built 3D track maps yet; Hotlap.ai draws the track from the lap's own GPS trace instead.
How Hotlap.ai finds the next tenth
Most sim racing telemetry tools show graphs. Hotlap.ai connects the graphs to driver decisions. It helps iRacing and Le Mans Ultimate drivers understand whether time is being lost from brake points, peak brake pressure, trail braking shape, throttle timing, steering overlap, apex speed, gear choice, upshift timing, understeer, oversteer, or inconsistent line through a sector.
Sync your sessions
Turn on telemetry recording once: Alt+L or irsdkAutoLogDisk=1 in app.ini for iRacing, or Automatic Telemetry Recording (Settings → Gameplay) in Le Mans Ultimate. The desktop app then picks up new sessions, groups them by car and track, hashes files for duplicate detection, and recovers interrupted upload jobs.

Overlay your lap against a personal best, theoretical best, teammate, live lap, or community reference. Delta, brake pressure, throttle, steering, gear, RPM, tire data, and map position stay aligned by distance.
Turn data into AI findings
AI analysis grades every corner from S to F, ranks the sections costing the most time, and shows your numbers against the reference — apex speed, brake point, throttle pickup — so each finding is backed by evidence.
